Passed Away: Hoyt Axton
Singer, songwriter and actor HOYT AXTON died Monday 25th Oct. at his home in Victor, Mont. Axton was the man who penned "Joy To The World," the huge hit for Three Dog Night and "The Pusher'' for Steppenwolf. The 61-year-old Axton suffered a severe heart attack two weeks ago and another while undergoing surgery in Montana. [Country Standard Time]
