Beangrowers Inselplatten
- REM "Automatic For The People"
All: With "Nightswimming," being one of the greatest songs, there has hardly ever been such a heartfelt album. - The Cure "Three Imaginary Boys"
All: We listened to this album when 13 years old, and what can we say... just brilliant. – F.I.R.E.I.N.C.A.I.R.O........ - The Beatles "Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band"
All: One of the first albums we listened to as children and loved most.
Alison: I also remember loving the artwork and the cut-outs of the Beatles members in the vinyl version. - Nick Drake "Pink Moon"
All: First heard the title track on a TV commercial and then bought the album. Instantly smitten by his wonderful voice and songwriting. - Jeff Buckley "Grace"
All: Melancholic and beautiful and with an amazing voice.
Alison: He was also a very handsome man, so the combination was thrilling to both the ears and eyes. - James "Laid"
All: An album to sleep to and to wake up to. Just the most peaceful way of making pop songs. - Belly "Star"
All: Music for witches and warlocks. - Lee 'Scratch' Perry "Greatest Hits"
All: We listened to this album on tour for a month, "satan is an evilous man..." - Velvet Underground "The Velvet Underground And Nico"
All: What kind of a desert island would we be living on without this album. They might think we're uncivilised without it. - Violent Femmes "Violent Femmes"
All: Still today sounds more Indie and real than most bands today.
